Dads in Early Years
Fathers Plus has been delivering services to fathers and male carers in early years settings since the early days of the service in the 1990's.
Our tried and tested methods of working have proved so successful in engaging fathers and male carers in these non-traditional settings that they were cited as an example of good practice in national guidance for children's centres. The Fathers Plus approach is not just about getting dads in and working with the issues they bring, but is very much focused on building capacity in the host setting to respond to the needs of fathers and male carers.
