Family Man Schools Outreach Programme

The family man website and schools outreach programme aims to encourage dads and male carers to become more involved in their children’s learning in and outside the classroom.
The programme works with schools on supporting them to become more father inclusive through the offer of a fun day at school for dads.
The Fathers Plus team work with the school to help recruit fathers onto the session and help them to look at their approach to working with father and male carers. This takes place through planning sessions.
The Family Man days are suitable for Y1 up to Y6.
