David Van der Velde

David joined Fathers Plus in January 2005 and has been instrumental in developing the service and setting up the Including Men Networks across the country.

David is a trained counsellor and has delivered play therapy in a primary school setting, couple counselling with Relate and therapeutic work with families and children in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. David has a background in IT and continues to direct a technology company set up under the E-Business foundation programme providing information management to not for profit and civil society organisations.

David is the father of four lovely children aged 4 to 17
